The Government of Monaco expresses deep sorrow following the death of Maestro Yakov Kreinzberg

16-03-2011

It was with deep sorrow that H.E. the Minister of State, the Government of Monaco and the Office of Cultural Affairs learnt of the passing of Maestro Yakov Kreizberg, Artistic Director and Music Director of the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Maestro Kreizberg led our prestigious orchestra for the past three years dedicating his great talent to his musicians on a daily basis, passing on to them, to the end, his exceptional musical energy, and offering them, with no effort spared, his joy for life – music.

Concert after concert, his many fans could but note the profound tie that existed between the orchestra and its conductor, both in the musical and human adventure which he shared with them.

Such generosity will remain stamped in the memory of the Principality.

H.E. the Minister of State, the Government of Monaco and the Office of Cultural Affairs wish to express their deepest condolences to his wife and children.
