A cheque from the Kiwanis to the representatives of Monaco Collectif Humanitaire

6-06-2011-

On 1st June, at the Cardio Thoracic Centre, Mr Alain Dorato, President of Kiwanis Monaco, presented a cheque amounting to 4,000 euros to the representatives of Monaco Collectif Humanitaire. The funds will be used to help pay for treating the heart pathology of Mariam, a little Malian girl aged 3.
Kiwanis Monaco was keen to lend its support to the chain of solidarity that has been created between Kiwanis of Mali and Monaco Collectif Humanitaire, enabling 10 Malian children to receive medical treatment in the Principality.
“Monaco Collectif Humanitaire” was set up in 2008 to enable underprivileged children whose pathologies cannot be operated on in their countries of origin to receive surgery and treatment in the Principality.
