As part of the centenary celebrations of the Human Paleontology Institute (IPH) – Albert I of Monaco Foundation, placed under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the “Musée des Merveilles”, one of the IPH’s branches, is hosting a magnificent exhibition entitled "Arkaïm" on the initiative of Professeor Henry de Lumley, Director of the IPH. The temporary exhibition, which is open until 31st March 2011, showcases a city from the Bronze Age in the Steppes of the Ural. In partnership with the Museum of Man and the IPH, this Franco-Russian exhibition is the result of cooperation recently initiated in the field of protohistory, concerning Eurasia’s first metalworkers.
