The Monegasque Authorities wish to inform the population of the gale force winds and storm announced by the meteorological office until Tuesday 8th November.
Violent winds of over 55 km/h, in addition to a heavy swell from the South / South East, with 3-metre high waves, are expected over night, with risks of flooding and damage to structures located on the coastline.
Furthermore, strong gusts of wind are likely to cause objects to fall or move around that may lead to injury.
The Government of Monaco is therefore asking the population to be extremely careful and to take the necessary measures to firmly attach any objects exposed to the wind, to protect and/or put under cover any items that could be damaged by a sudden rise in water levels, in particular the sea level, and advises them against walking along the seafront.
