All the above batches have been withdrawn from sale.
Some of these products were however offered for sale prior to the recall.
Consequently anybody who might have purchased the cheese belonging to one of the batches described above is advised not to eat it, to destroy it, or ask for a reimbursement.
Anyone who has consumed the "products” mentioned above, and who develops a fever, either isolated or associated with a headache, is advised to consult a doctor, informing the latter that she/he has eaten the cheese in question.
Pregnant women should pay particular attention to these symptoms, as should immunosuppressed individuals and the elderly. These symptoms may be linked with listeriosis, a disease that can be serious and for which the incubation period can last up to eight weeks. |
