Thierry Apparu has just joined the Monegasque cable TV channel “Monaco Info”, where he is taking on the role of Editor in Chief.
A graduate in both communications and political science, obtained respectively from the universities of the Sorbonne and Assas (Paris), Thierry Apparu began his career as a professional journalist in 1992.
He started as a general news reporter for Radio Monte Carlo (RMC), and was later put in charge of setting up and developing the newsroom for the television team in Monaco between 1998 and 2002. His coverage area included the whole South East section of France and the North of Italy.
He then became editor in chief and presenter of “Demain, c’est foot » on Télé Monte Carlo (TMC), while still working for various radio and TV stations, both French and foreign, including RTL.
In 1998, Thierry Apparu also became a correspondent for the Associated Press (AP).
Aged 38, Thierry Apparu is a sports enthusiast and a keen runner. He is married with one child.
