Since 28th June, the Principality’s beaches have been the focus of much attention and will continue to be until mid-September. Therefore, the Department of Maritime Affairs (DAM) has installed two jellyfish nets in both coves of Larvotto beach, as it does every year. DAM co-ordinates the installation, monitoring and maintenance of the nets as well as the weekly cleaning operation.
The jellyfish net, 175 cm long and 3 m wide, works using a green float system and is installed in half a day.
